Young adults ages 18 and up are MORE THAN welcome here! Whether you are curious about God and have never given any thought to religion, really desire to deepen your faith, or are simply craving some community, you're in the perfect place! You'll never be asked to bring a bunch of money nor will you be bugged with a million rsvp links, emails, or anything- we keep it simple. Using one app with a shared calender to do it all, we host Bible studies at the church twice a month, that TRULY will deepen your faith in an incredible way. Sometimes it is also accompanied by adoration prior. To break it up the studies, between the two of them, we'll have a bonfire, a game night, or something similar. In addition, we try to help the community when in need, go on pilgrimages and retreats from time to time, and simply do whatever it takes to help each other and to help ourselves tune our ears to God's love.If you know someone who may be interested in the group, have questions about attending yourself, have a service project that may need a few folks' helping hands, or simply want to connect, please reach out! Q & A's
Q: Who is this group for? -Our ministry is open to all young adults ages 18 to 39. Whether you are a college student, a young professional, single, married, or anywhere in between, you have a place here.
Q: Do I have to be Catholic to attend? -Not at all! While our discussions and prayer are rooted in the Catholic faith, anyone seeking community, asking big questions, or looking for spiritual growth is welcome with open arms. Come as you are.
Q: What does a typical meeting look like? -Normal meetings consist of roughly an hour long Bible study in a very comfortable setting simply just reflecting on some Scripture, learning about it, and seeing how it compares to our lives. Sometimes Bible studies will start an hour early with adoration in the church. If it isn't the first or third week Bible study, we may have a game night and potluck, do a video refelction, or have a fire, and just be present!
Q: I’m coming alone and I’m nervous. Will I fit in? -Everyone who comes now started by walking through the door alone. Our leadership team and welcoming committee make it a priority to introduce you to people right away. You won't sit by yourself.
Q: What if i can't get the groupme app? -Not a worry in the world! We have some active participants who aren't able to as well and they are filled in of events by text! And if that still doesn't work, let us know and we will happily accomadate.
